How it works

A free way for Lancaster County homeowners to reach a gutter installer who works near them.

  1. You call or send a request

Tell us your town and what's wrong: you want guards, the gutters leak or sag, water overflows in storms, or downspouts dump water at the foundation.

  2. We pass it to one local installer

Your call or request goes to an independent gutter company that works in your part of Lancaster County.

  3. The installer takes it from there

They contact you, visit, quote and do the work. Prices, warranties and terms are between you and them.

What we are and aren't

Lancaster Gutter Guards is a referral service, not a contractor. We don't send crews, employ installers or set prices, and using the site costs homeowners nothing.

How to check out the installer

  • Ask for their Pennsylvania home improvement contractor registration number. It starts with PA.
  • For jobs over $500, get a written contract with the total price, start and finish dates and your cancellation notice.
  • Ask for a certificate of liability insurance.
  • Get the gutter size, guard product and downspout plan in writing.
  • Keep the deposit reasonable. The Attorney General's guidance suggests about one-third for larger projects.
